Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Accountant - #1165061

To support our growth plans, we seek to recruit a collaborative, dynamic and results-driven individual to join us as an Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all accounting reports are accurate and to complete in accordance with local accounting and tax requirements, corporate policies, and statutory deadlines

• Oversee accounting activities, year-end closing and preparation of year-end audit

• Manage account payables to ensure timely captured and payment, and review receivables where necessary

• Prepare and submit monthly management / operation reports with variance analysis, and support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning

• Partner with business units to provide financial insights for decision-making.

• Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring compliance with company policies and accepted accounting practice

• Assist in financial process reviews and re-engineering, and systems implementation for efficiency

• Maintain files and documentation (via sharepoint if possible)

• Assist in treasury and banking related activities, and monitor financial risks wth mitigation plans

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance-related equivalent.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience.

• Familiar with tax regulations in Singapore

• Proficiency in Office application (Excel, Power point)

• Meticulous with a flair for figures, independent, team player and able to meet tight deadlines

• Have initiative and can work independently

• Ensure the accuracy and completion of deliverables within stipulated timelines (e.g. management report, forecast and budgets)

• Knowledge on SAP/ERP system will be an advantage
