About the role

We are seeking a Lorry Driver Class 3 (Temporary) to join Nury Dian Xin Delight Pte Ltd. This is a part-time temporary position based in the Sembawang. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and managing a Class 3 chilled truck to transport goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. You will play a crucial part in our logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods whilst maintaining the highest safety and professionalism standards.

Key responsibilities

1. Operate a Class 3 lorry to transport goods to designated locations

2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the lorry is in safe working condition

3. Plan and execute efficient delivery routes whilst adhering to traffic regulations and road safety guidelines

4. Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper securing and arrangement of cargo

5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle mileage

6. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered

7. Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times

8. Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the lorry both internally and externally

What we're looking for

1. Valid Class 3 driving licence with a clean driving record

2. Minimum of 2 years' experience driving lorries or similar commercial vehicles

3. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws in Singapore

4. Excellent time management

5. Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods

6. Reliable, punctual and professional demeanour

7. Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

8. Preferably experience in courier, logistics or goods delivery services
