Assistant Cook / Kitchen Assistant / Chef Helper at Changi Airport - #1164947

Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice is a globally recognised Singapore’s iconic heritage brand, is opening its first premium shopping and lifestyle destination, with excellent connectivity via MRT and public bus services. We are hiring multiple team members to support the opening of our new flagship outlet. Successful candidates will be involved in food preparation, kitchen operations, cooking and chopping chickens.

Responsibilities:

· Support chefs, ensure the pass area is clean, monitor and restock kitchen line supplies.

· Assist in preparation of basic ingredients for dishes, food processor

· Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work areas, following health safety guidelines

· Wash, sanitize, and organize kitchen utensils, equipment, and workstations

· Properly store ingredients, label dated items and assist with stock rotation (FIFO)

· Handle and dispose of kitchen waste appropriately

· Work collaboratively and respectfully with all kitchens and front-of-house staff

Requirements:

· Food Safety Certification level 1 is a plus, but training can be provided

· Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced, and busy environment

· Reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude

· Able to stand for long periods during work shift and perform repetitive tasks.

Working Hours:

· 6 days work week

· 10 to 11 hours/day shift- based schedule
