Assistant/ Project Manager (Construction) - #1164912

What you'll be doing

• Assist in managing the overall planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects in accordance with project schedules, quality standards, and contractual requirements

• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to resolve technical and operational matters throughout the project lifecycle

• Review construction drawings, technical submissions, shop drawings, and project documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and authority requirements

• Monitor project progress, construction quality, safety performance, and resource utilisation to achieve project milestones within budget and schedule

• Lead site coordination meetings, oversee subcontractor performance, and drive timely resolution of construction issues, design changes, defects, and site challenges

• Support project planning, work sequencing, logistics coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and project delivery

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), Environmental, Quality Management System (ISO), and relevant regulatory requirements

• Mentor and guide project engineers, site supervisors, and project teams to foster collaboration and operational excellence

What we're looking for

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering

• 5 - 10 years of working experience managing building/ HDB/ industrial/ LTA construction projects

• Good understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and local authority requirements

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
