Reporting to the Executive Chef or whoever he might delegate to, be responsible for the operational requirements of the company including :
Assist in the preparation of food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions
Ensure on food quality upon delivery, before & after cooking
Able to deliver food items on time with consistent standard & presentations
Manage individual areas of responsibilities and areas delegated by senior chefs
Ensure food hygiene and kitchen safety
Maintain kitchen equipment in good condition
Flexible to menu, promotional and adhoc recipe changes
Participates in product development and in controlling the smooth operation of the kitchen
Prepares and cooks food in all areas of the kitchen as and when directed
Requirements:
At least 1-2 year experience in a similar position
Working experience in the hotel industry will be an added advantage
Commitment to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
