WiFi Engineer (Tier2/Tier3) - #1164807

Responsibilities:

• Configure and activate customer WIFI services, ensuring a high-performance and secure network.

• Participate in a 24x7 standby rotation to provide on-demand support.

• Integrate WIFI services with enterprise systems, such as RADIUS, DHCP, and DNS.

• Execute onboarding procedures, including zero-touch provisioning and firmware validation.

• Perform pre-deployment readiness checks and post-deployment verifications.

• Document configurations, implementation steps, and test results for knowledge transfer.

• Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex wireless issues.

• Assist with platform diagnostics, log analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA).

• Engage in platform monitoring, firmware reviews, and security patching activities.

• Test and evaluate new features, templates, or processes before implementation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a WIFI environment, preferably within managed services or enterprise IT.

• Strong understanding of wireless networking standards and RF theory.

• Experience with enterprise or cloud-based WLAN platforms (e.g., Meraki, Aruba).

• Knowledge of authentication systems and network security protocols.

• Industry certifications (e.g., CWNA, CWNP, Cisco Wireless) are preferred.

• Familiarity with provisioning tools, scripting, or automation is advantageous.

• Experience with Huawei and POL systems is a plus.
