Role Purpose
The Head of Regional Market Management – APAC is responsible for defining and driving APAC‑wide market, industry, and customer strategies to achieve sustainable growth and improved commercial effectiveness.
The role leads industry segment management, regional sales and go‑to‑market strategy, global and regional key account coordination, and Sales Effectiveness Programs, working closely with country organizations and regional/global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Market & Sales Strategy
Formulate and implement the APAC regional market and sales strategy in alignment with global objectives, ensuring integration with individual country strategies.
Translate regional growth priorities into actionable go‑to‑market frameworks, including industry segmentation, channel models, and value propositions.
Act as a strategic partner to country sales leaders for strategy execution.
Industry Segment Management
Lead focused industry segments where APAC holds strategic importance or leadership.
Define segment strategies, value propositions, and integrated go‑to‑market models.
Drive structured Industry Segment Management, including market sizing, ecosystem analysis, application focus, and competitor benchmarking.
Support local country organizations in segment of penetration and development
Global & Regional Key Account Management
Coordinate Global and Regional Key Accounts across APAC in alignment with global account management frameworks.
Ensure consistency in account plans, customer engagement models, and pipeline transparency.
Enable cross‑country collaboration to maximize value from multinational customers.
Sales Effectiveness
Lead APAC Sales Effectiveness Program aligned with global Sales Excellence initiatives.
Enhance SEP through sales drive formula, customer life cycle, sales activity, opportunity management, value proposition, and cross selling.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and HR on capability development and enablement.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Serve as a key APAC counterpart to Global Sales Functional Teams - Market Management, Global Key Account and Global Industry Segment teams.
Act as a regional integrator across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Supply Chain.
Facilitate regular APAC Sales & Marketing Strategy and Performance reviews.
Lead the APAC Market Management team to deliver value to local sales countries efficiently.
Key Success Measures
Regional revenue growth and profitability
Key Industry segment penetration and market share
Performance of key accounts across APAC
SEP enhancement and sales productivity improvement
Alignment between global strategy and APAC execution
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in market management, sales strategy, or commercial leadership and stakeholders management.
Prior leadership experience in managing a team and strong communication skills
Strong exposure to industrial / Electrical / Infrastructure / Automotive / Semiconductor / B2B related markets in an APAC regional context.
Proven experience working in matrix and cross‑cultural environments.
Proficiency in leveraging artificial intelligence within the workplace to enhance performance and operational efficiency.
Working hours:
Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm
