Job Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.

• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including reconciliations.

• Prepare GST submissions, tax schedules, and support annual audit activities.

• Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and maintain fixed asset schedules.

• Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting.

• Handle intercompany transactions and balance confirmations.

• Prepare XBRL financial statements and liaise with the corporate secretary for ACRA filings.

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

• Support project accounting, including project costing, subcontractor claims, and progress billings.

• Assist in process improvements and strengthen internal controls.

• Supervise and review the work of junior accounts staff when required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience handling full set of accounts.

• Experience in the construction or civil engineering industry will be an advantage.

• Familiar with GST, financial reporting, XBRL, and month-end closing.

• Knowledge of project accounting, progress billing, and subcontractor claims is preferred.

• Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
