Legal Technology Project Specialist - #1164726

Join our Knowledge, Innovation and Technology (KIT) department as a Legal Technology Project Specialist.

You will champion the adoption of legal technology solutions (including AI tools) across the firm, taking ownership of projects from inception through to delivery.

Working closely with practice groups and the Technology Department, you will scope and manage legal technology projects across their full lifecycle, as well as oversee the firm's legal technology vendor relationships, which includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements. Beyond implementation, the role involves driving knowledge management and adoption by organising training sessions and other related events, maintaining solution documentation, and resolving practitioner queries. Gathering user feedback to align technology strategies with practical business needs, staying informed of emerging legal tech trends, and identifying challenges that can be addressed through innovative solutions are also key aspects of the position.

Who We Are Looking For

You will ideally hold an LLB with 2–3 PQE or relevant experience, preferably in a law firm or services environment.

You are someone with:

• Experience with contract review

• Familiarity with legal technology tools and an understanding of how lawyers work day-to-day is an advantage

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams simultaneously

• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

• Sound commercial acumen and well-developed interpersonal skills

• Initiative and will be proactive, with the ability to work independently

• The versatility to move between strategic thinking and detailed troubleshooting
