Senior Executive, Business Analyst - #1164621

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Distribution Middle Office team.
This role acts as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and the IT team, ensuring that business requirements are clearly captured, thoroughly analysed and effectively translated into system solutions that support operational efficiency and strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, hands-on system experience and a deep understanding of distribution and compensation processes within the insurance industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Analysis & Requirement Management
Engage business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, processes for IT teams
Conduct impact analysis and feasibility assessments for proposed enhancements or initiatives
Prioritize the requirements based on the urgency of business
Develop & execute test scenarios and user documentation to ensure timely and quality delivery
Ensure requirements are aligned with business objectives and regulatory standards
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of system enhancement and projects
Conduct end-to-end implementation activities across stakeholders
Continually improve documentation standards and testing methodologies
2. Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary liaison between business users and IT team
Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs. Ensure requirements are clearly communicated and well understood
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across teams
Provide recommendations to ensure solutions align with business objectives
3. Implementation Support
Work closely with IT team throughout the system development lifecycle (SDLC), ensure the timeline meets the requirement deadline
Support Test Scenarios preparation, UAT verification and signoff
Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
Assist in issue resolution, root cause analysis and post-implementation support
4. Production Support
Provides support to DMO users, Distribution Channels & Advisors
Manage and resolve production issues in a timely manner
Track, communicate and ensure closure of incidents with stakeholders
5. Documentation & Governance
Maintain comprehensive documentation including Business Requirement document, Functional Specification document, process flow and user manuals
Ensure adherence to internal governance, documentation standards and audit requirements
6. Other Responsibilities:
Support new product launching &access control
Support ad-hoc projects, system initiatives and tasks as assigned
Requirements
General Degree / Degree holder in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field
5 years of experience in Business Analysis
Experience in the insurance industry. Domain in distribution or compensation is highly preferred
