We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Brand Development Department. The successful candidate will manage daily workflow, traffic, and creative solutions for our Operations and Tenant-Partners. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, excellent organisational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high creative standards. This role will lead a unit of marketing and creative staff, with responsibilities spanning Brand, Marketing, and Creative solutions for new stall set-ups, promotional materials, price changes, and stall/outlet maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Creative Director with the daily allocation of tasks within the team, ensuring a balanced workload and adherence to timelines.
Monitor job progress, providing updates and ensuring deadlines are met.
Work closely with the Brand & Marketing team to conceptualise and execute the visual direction for outlet/store launches, with full accountability from initial concept to final execution.
Propose creative solutions to marketing and design briefs in accordance with Food Republic, Food Junction, and our tenant/partner brand guidelines.
Present design proposals to Brand Leads and other stakeholders, providing clear rationale and justification behind design decisions that meet marketing objectives and messaging.
Work with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure productions and artwork for VM displays are operationally viable in stores.
Maintain quality control on brand guidelines to ensure brand consistency and compliance across all touchpoints.
Work across a range of media, including digital, and basic video editing and animation work.
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior design role of at least 2 years, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong understanding of brand guidelines and ability to maintain consistency across all creative outputs.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with strong team management ability and the capacity to collaborate effectively with other departments.
Highly objective-oriented and proactive.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.
