About the role

Dermacare Aesthetics Medical is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse and Doctor Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a full-time position based in City Hall, Central Region. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential clinical and administrative support to our medical professionals whilst delivering high-quality patient care in our aesthetics and medical clinic environment. You will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth clinic operations, patient safety and an excellent patient experience.

Key responsibilities

1. Assist doctors and medical professionals during consultations, procedures and treatments in a safe and professional manner

2. Prepare patients for procedures and ensure appropriate informed consent is obtained

3. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all data protection and privacy regulations

4. Assist with minor dressing changes, wound care and post-procedure care

5. Sterilise, maintain and manage medical equipment and instruments according to infection control protocols

6. Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation

7. Provide patient education on pre- and post-treatment care instructions\\

8. Respond to patient queries and concerns with empathy and professionalism

9. Support clinic operations including scheduling, inventory management and basic administrative tasks

10. Adhere to all healthcare regulations, safety standards and clinic policies

What we're looking for

1. Current and valid nursing qualification or healthcare assistant certification recognised in Singapore

2. Minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, preferably in an aesthetics, dermatology or medical clinic environment

3. Strong knowledge of infection control practices, sterilisation protocols and patient safety procedures

4. Excellent clinical assessment and observation skills

5. Proficiency in taking and recording vital signs accurately

6. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, doctors and healthcare team members

7. Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

8. Compassionate and patient-centred approach to healthcare delivery

9. Physical capability to perform the duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and assisting patients

10. Professional attitude with commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient care

11. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to clinic requirements

12. Preferred experience in aesthetics procedures, cosmetic treatments or surgical assistance

13. Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinic management software
