About the Role
Our client is an established player in the food distribution / foodservice industry and is looking for a Sales Executive to manage and grow foodservice accounts.

This role comes with an existing customer base to manage, while also allowing the successful candidate to develop new business opportunities. It is suitable for someone who enjoys account management, customer relationship building, and sales growth within the foodservice sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow assigned foodservice customer accounts.

• Service existing customers and identify opportunities to increase sales.

• Develop new business opportunities within the foodservice market.

• Build strong relationships with customers and understand their product needs.

• Recommend suitable food products and solutions to customers.

• Work closely with internal teams such as Commercial, Logistics, Finance and Marketing to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer buying patterns.

• Track sales performance and provide sales updates / forecasts when required.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Business, Marketing or related discipline.

• At least 3 years of sales / account management experience, preferably in foodservice, FMCG, food distribution, hospitality supply or related industries.

• Good knowledge of food products will be an advantage.

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• Sales-driven, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Possessing own vehicle will be an advantage but NOT a must

Remuneration & Benefits

• Basic salary: $3,500 to $4,300 per month.

• Fixed transport allowance: $1,000 per month.
