Observe production, testing and pilot runs to identify process, workflow, tooling, jigs/fixtures and accessory improvements.
Participate in start‑up and product introduction meetings; support transfer of new products to the production line.
Collaborate with design, quality, test and other engineering/support groups on part and product evaluation, validation and change implementation.
Troubleshoot production and yield issues; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Document observations, process changes and verification results; ensure improvements are validated before production release/qualification.
Study and modify existing processes to meet product requirements, quality standards and production targets.
Conduct product quality monitoring and ensure line personnel conform to work standards and procedures.
Coordinate with production planning, quality and other departments to meet production schedules and quality objectives.
Create, design and maintain process flowcharts, process specifications, work instructions and related documentation for new and existing products.
Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma) to reduce waste, improve yield and increase throughput.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
2 years’ experience in assembly production, process engineering or manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience with root cause analysis, FMEA, SPC, DOE and corrective action processes.
Technically inclined and interpret mold, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawing.
Able to analyze production process flow.
Strong problem-solving, analytical and observational skills.
Effective communication and ability to work cross-functionally.
Proficiency with process documentation, basic CAD and manufacturing data analysis tools.
Knowledge of quality systems (ISO) and safety practices.
Hands-on experience with assembly tooling, fixtures, testing, and pilot runs.
