Occupational Therapist (Early Intervention / Preschool)

$4,000 - $6,000 (salary commensurate with experience)

Join a multidisciplinary team supporting children with developmental, sensory and learning needs across preschool environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and assessments for sensory, motor and developmental needs.

• Develop and implement intervention plans within preschool routines and classrooms.

• Support educators and caregivers with practical strategies and classroom adaptations.

• Collaborate with therapists, educators and families to support children's participation and development.

• Deliver consultations, workshops and training sessions for educators and parents.

• Maintain case documentation and progress reports.

• Contribute to programme development and inclusive education initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy recognised by AHPC.

• Full registration with AHPC.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in early intervention, education or preschool settings.

• Strong communication, interpersonal and case management skills.

• Passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
