About the role

As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting our Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Podiatry, and Acupuncture Service departments. You will be a part of a team which focuses on assisting our therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to our patients.

What you'll be doing

• Provide assistance to our therapists in the delivery of various rehabilitative treatments and interventions

• Escort and transport patients to and from treatment areas as needed

• Set up treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean and maintained

• Observe and report on patient progress to our therapists

• Provide general administrative support as required

What we're looking for

• Experience working as a therapy assistant or in a similar supporting role within a healthcare setting will be of added advantage

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team

• Compassionate and empathetic approach when working with patients

• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
