BIM Coordinator - #1164364

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BIM coordination within the construction industry.

• Proficient in BIM software such as: Solidworks, Autodesk RevitNavisworks ManageAutoCADAutodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)

• Good understanding of construction drawings, shop drawings, and coordination processes.

• Knowledge of BIM standards, ISO 19650, and project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).

• Experience in clash detection and coordination meetings.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM models among architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and coordinate the resolution of clashes with relevant stakeholders.

• Maintain and update federated BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM standards, BEP, and client requirements.

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve design and construction issues.

• Prepare and present BIM coordination reports and clash reports during coordination meetings.

• Review and validate BIM models before submission.

• Support the production of shop drawings, as-built models, and construction documentation.

• Manage model versions and ensure proper document control within the Common Data Environment (CDE).

• Assist the Manager in implementing BIM workflows and best practices.

• Provide technical support and guidance to BIM modelers and project team members.

• Monitor BIM deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely submission.

• Participate in site coordination to verify constructability and resolve BIM-related issues.

• Ensure compliance with company BIM standards and relevant regulatory requirements.

• Continuously improve BIM workflows and promote BIM adoption across projects.
