The Boutique Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end performance of Birds of Paradise's boutiques and events — owning operational standards, customer experience, visual merchandising, and commercial results across every location and activation. This role sits at the heart of how the brand comes to life for our customers: ensuring every boutique runs to the highest standard, every event is executed with the same rigour, every team member is growing, and every performance insight is turned into action.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR:
(i) Boutique & Events Operational Leadership
Own end-to-end operations across all boutiques and events — spanning customer experience, cash handling, fulfilment, inventory, product quality, visual merchandising, equipment and facilities.
Plan and manage manpower, rostering, and costs; develop and uphold SOPs; and lead audits to drive continuous improvement.
Report on performance and priorities to leadership through regular operations meetings and management reports.
(ii) Commercial Performance
Own boutique revenue and operating costs; manage events operational costs — translating data and floor insights into clear workplans and commercial recommendations.
Monitor product performance across locations and work with marketing and product teams to capitalise on opportunities.
(iii) System-Level Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation
Identify and implement system-level improvements and operational tools — from POS to data analytics — to enhance efficiency, scalability, and decision-making.
(B) OVERALL RESPONSIBLE FOR
(i) Team Development and Management
Lead through Area Managers and Events Supervisor to deliver operational excellence; build capability through coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
Develop a team that consistently delivers the Birds of Paradise experience at every touchpoint.
(ii) Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate across HR, Training & Development, Fulfilment/Warehouse, Finance, Marketing — and with other departments as operational needs require.

Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as F&B Operations Manager (overseeing 5 or more outlets)
Degree or Diploma
Strong people developer with administrative, communications and leadership skills
5-day work week with flexibility for weekends and Public Holidays as operational needs require.
