At PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, our people are the heart of our hospitality. We are looking for a People & Culture Executive who is passionate about creating a positive employee experience and supporting our people throughout their journey with us.
Reporting to the Director/Manager, People & Culture, you will support the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture function across recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration and offboarding. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised, and thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
· Support the recruitment process for assigned departments, including preparing job descriptions, posting vacancies, screening applications, coordinating interviews and conducting reference checks.
· Prepare recruitment documentation and obtain the necessary hiring approvals.
· Process work pass applications, renewals and security bonds for foreign associates.
· Coordinate pre-employment documentation and ensure all employment records are complete before commencement.
Pre-Onboarding and Onboarding
· Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience.
· Arrange pre-employment requirements including system access, staff ID cards, medical insurance enrolment, uniforms and associate privileges.
· Coordinate departmental onboarding plans and ensure all onboarding activities are completed.
Culture & Employee Experience
· Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities, appreciation events and wellness initiatives.
People Partnering
· Build positive working relationships with department leaders and associates.
· Provide timely HR administrative support and guidance on routine HR matters.
· Escalate complex employee relations matters to the Director, People & Culture where appropriate.
HR Operations
· Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is updated in a timely manner.
· Ensure HR processes are administered accurately and in compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
· Process medical insurance enrolment, work injury reporting and other employee administration.
· Monitor the renewal of work passes for foreign associates and coordinate timely submissions to ensure continued compliance.
· Prepare regular HR reports for management reporting.
Administration
· Raise purchase requisitions and monitor invoices relating to People & Culture activities.
· Prepare monthly reports including Foreign Worker Levy submissions and other HR metrics.
· Coordinate with Finance and other departments on HR-related administrative matters.
· Assist associates with the reservation of attraction passes and respond to general HR-related enquiries.
Offboarding:
· Coordinate the end-to-end offboarding process, including resignation documentation, exit clearance and exit interviews.
· Ensure final salary payments, leave encashment and offboarding documentation are completed accurately and within stipulated timelines
Projects & Continuous Improvement
· Support HR projects, process improvement initiatives and new programmes as assigned.
· Participate in company-wide initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
· Perform any other duties assigned by the Director/Manager, People & Culture
Requirements:
· Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
· At least one year of HR experience, ideally in hospitality or service-oriented environments.
· A people-focused mindset and genuine passion for hospitality.
· Someone who is dynamic, forward thinking and highly motivated.
· Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
· Collaborative team player who enjoys coaching and nurturing junior colleagues.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change
