About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to support procurement operations within an engineering environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in end-to-end procurement, strategic sourcing, tender management, and supplier relationship management.
You will play a key role in ensuring timely procurement of materials and services while maintaining cost efficiency, quality, and compliance with company procurement policies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and contract administration.
Source materials and services in accordance with project specifications and operational requirements.
Evaluate suppliers based on pricing, quality, delivery performance, and service standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and support operational needs.
Work closely with the Finance team on payment-related matters and invoice reconciliation.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, monitor market trends, and assess supply risks.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and governance standards.
Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports when required.
Requirements
Diploma in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–5 years of end-to-end procurement experience within the engineering, manufacturing, marine, logistics, industrial, or related sectors.
Strong experience in sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, contract management, and procurement negotiations.
Familiarity with engineering materials, equipment, or technical services procurement will be an advantage.
Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP procurement systems.
