Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Program / Software Engineer to develop and support GUI-based software applications for robotic and automation systems. This role involves close collaboration with hardware, controls, and automation teams to deliver reliable and user-friendly software solutions.

GUI Programmer Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain graphical user interfaces (GUI) for industrial and automation systems.

• Develop user-friendly software screens for machine control, monitoring, and diagnostics.

• Implement software logic for data visualization, alarms, logging, and system status display.

• Collaborate with automation and hardware teams to ensure seamless GUI-to-machine communication.

• Optimize GUI performance, usability, and responsiveness across different system configurations.

• Debug and resolve software issues related to GUI functionality and system integration.

• Prepare and maintain software documentation including design specifications, user manuals, and change records.

Robot Automation Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and configure robotic automation systems for industrial applications.

• Perform robot motion programming, path optimization, and cycle time improvement.

• Integrate robots with vision systems, sensors, actuators, and peripheral equipment.

• Support system setup, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting on-site or in-house.

• Work closely with controls engineers on PLC, HMI, and safety system integration.

• Conduct functional testing and support factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).

• Provide technical support during production ramp-up and resolve automation-related issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.

• Experience in GUI programming (e.g., C#, C++, Python, Java, or equivalent).

• Exposure to robot automation systems or industrial equipment is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of motion control, robotics, or PLC integration is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
