Electrical and Instrumentation & Control Design Engineer

• Up to $6,000 Basic + AWS

  • Start with 1 year contract first/ subject to renewal / convert into permanent)=

• Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm – OT not entitle to claim

• Jurong Island/Onsite

  • Onshore project (Land) – Power Plant, Chemical Plant and Oil & Gas

You will work on the detailed design engineering, prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines, focus on completing work within budgets, and clearly communicate and explain information in straightforward engineering activities. You will report to Lead Engineer, Supervisor Department Manager, and liaise with all Engineering disciplines, shall be capable to deliver below responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Electrical:

• Design of electrical systems accordance to IEC and Singapore Standards.

• Design for HT/LT/ELV/ICA/ Earthing and Grounding System including design calculations, sizing’s and conceptual design drawings using advance tool and software; Cad, ETAP etc.

• Design electrical conceptual design, SLD, project specifications, Schematics & Layout design (including library design), Cable Assembly Design & sizing.

• Perform technical bid evaluation

• Work closely with Process, Mechanical, Piping and other relevant disciplines, and Quantity Surveyor

• Co-ordinate with clients, LEW/consultants on the technical requirements and attend technical discussions and meeting with authorities, developer, and contractors.

• Develop interfaces for systems, sub-systems in electrical package

• Lead off-site/ outsource design engineers for large / multiple projects

• Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards

• Provide technical assistance to Construction team

• Attend Site check/verification as and when required

• Attend technical meetings with clients, vendors, LEW, Consultant, FAT and SAT

• Prepare BOQ, Material Take off

Instrumentation and Control:

• Design of I&C systems accordance to IEC and Singapore Standards.

• Prepare engineering drawings / documents such as; Plant Control system Configuration, CCR and equipment room layout, Instrument datasheets, location plan, I&C Cable schedule, routing drawings, Instrument Hook up and Loop drawings

• Design Control Logic Diagrams; OLCS & CLCS according to the process

• CCTV and Communication system block diagram and layout

RESPONISBILITIES

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical/ Instrument Engineering.

• 5 years of design experience in Power Electronics HV/MV/LT/ELV/ICA etc.,

• Proficient with MS Office Program AutoCAD. Autodesk BIM/Revit

• Knowledge on designing in 3D layout & ETAP

• Good knowledge of valve selection, flow meter selection, sizing of valves, valve actuator, flow meters and Automation system DCS/PLC.
