As a Nurse Manager - Urgent Care Centre, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible for overseeing nursing operations, clinical quality, patient safety, and staff development within the Urgent Care Centre, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centred care in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

• Lead nursing operations to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based care delivery in a high-acuity environment.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, clinical guidelines, and emergency response standards.

• Drive quality and safety initiatives, including clinical audits, incident reporting, and root cause analysis to reduce risk and improve outcomes.

• Promote medication safety practices and support continuous improvement in clinical governance and service quality.

• Lead, coach, and develop nursing staff through competency assessment, performance management, and training.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and professional development within the team.

• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and management to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care.

• Act as the key nursing liaison for multidisciplinary communication and operational alignment.

• Oversee workforce planning, resource allocation, and daily operational needs of the centre.

• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and support financial and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing; post-graduate certifications in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or Healthcare Management will be advantageous.

• Minimum 7 years of nursing experiences, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

• Prior experience in an Emergency Department, Trauma Unit, or Urgent Care setting is preferred.
