Occupational Therapist (Full Time/Locum) - #1163924

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients requiring rehabilitation services.

• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address functional goals and daily living needs.

• Deliver interventions focused on:

• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)

• Cognitive and perceptual rehabilitation

• Upper limb rehabilitation and functional recovery

• Utilise evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support patient progress and outcomes.

• Recommend appropriate assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals in care planning and goal setting.

• Support discharge planning, including caregiver education and recommendations for home or community reintegration.

• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress using relevant assessment tools and outcome measures.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.

• Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore

• Prior experience in rehabilitation settings will be advantageous.

• Familiarity with neurological rehabilitation is preferred.

• Ability to manage assigned caseloads independently.
