As a Senior Assistant Manager (Clinical Strategy & Governance), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Provides governance, secretariat, and coordination support to department.

  • Supports the development and execution of clinical strategies, strengthens clinical governance practices, and ensures effective oversight of quality, safety, risk management, and compliance across the organisation.

  • Coordinate meeting schedules, agendas, papers, and related logistics.

  • Prepare meeting minutes, decision logs, and action trackers.

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of clinical governance frameworks, policies, and standards.

  • Track and report on key governance domains, including quality, patient safety, clinical risk, professional standards, and compliance.

  • Consolidate governance reports, dashboards, and performance indicators for board review.

  • Ensure alignment with organisational, cluster, and national clinical governance requirements.

  • Identify and escalate governance risks, issues, and non-compliance matters where appropriate.

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of clinical strategies, priorities, and programme roadmaps.

  • Consolidate inputs from stakeholders across quality, risk, informatics, and professional practice functions.

  • Support the alignment of clinical programmes with organisational objectives and population health priorities.

  • Facilitate the preparation of board papers and submissions for strategic review and endorsement.

  • Ensure proper document control, version management, and record integrity.

  • Maintain audit trails of decisions, actions, and outcomes.

  • Support internal and external audits, reviews, and governance assessments.

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline, preferably in Healthcare or Public Health, Health Administration.

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare administration, governance, or strategy.
