Job Responsibilities:
Manage team of engineers and technician to operate and maintain Utilities system efficiently and safely
Manage team of engineers and technician to operate and maintain Waste system efficiently and safely
Manage performance of external service providers to meet service level agreement.
Lead the team to generate improvement ideas. Collaborate with customer to develop and implement projects.
Lead and create conducive environment for the team comply to customer SHE, Quality and Training requirements
Provide technical expertise and engineering consultations to site team Maintain accurate operation, maintenance and finance records
Achieve cost saving as specified in contract
Manage prudent spending on annual operation and maintenance budget
Track key performance indicators to meet targets as specified in contract
Work with cross functional team to resolve complex problems with potential impact to business continuity and able to make rapid rational decisions.
Identify and provide trainings to enhance core competency of team
Maintain cordial work relationship with client
Identify pull through opportunities for Sodexo services and systems
Manage site procurement activities in accordance to Sodexo BOS
Manage site financial activities in accordance to Sodexo BOS
Contribute and participate in projects design and plant modification in instrument and electrical aspects in close liaison with the project group.
Carry out modification and installation of instrument and electrical equipment in order to improve plant efficiency and safety.
Assist the project group in updating and maintaining maintenance operation technical information in electrical and instrument perspective (eg. Instrument/Electrical circuits drawing, instrument data etc).
Liaise with external / Internal parties to maintain, for all the automated controlling system in the production areas (eg. PLC and DCS), Building Maintenance System (BMS) and Maintenance Management System (MMS).
Trouble-shoot and take corrective action for electrical/instrument equipment failures / breakdowns in order to minimise production downtime. This refers to more serious / repetitive problems.
Plan and implement of preventive and predictive maintenance program (electrical/instrument aspects) for new equipment / facility. This includes the setting-up and organising the calibration and validation of instrument to meet FDA requirements.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation or related subjects
Minimum 3 years related experience in the chemical process or pharmaceuticals industry.
Sound working knowledge on major electrical system (eg. Transformers, Switchgears, motor, etc.), experience in Distributed Control System, Programmable Logic Controllers, with good understanding of the pneumatic and hydraulic control system.
Must be conversant with Maintenance Strategy & CGMP principles and statutory requirements or Chemical Process Industry at capacity of Mechanical Engineer
Must be conversant with Utilities, Environment & Electrical and Instruments activity, Safety & cGMP principles.
