About the role
We are seeking a Community/Marketing Manager to join Pickle Padel Movement in the Woodleigh Central Region. This is a full-time position that combines community engagement with strategic marketing communications to drive brand awareness, build community relationships, and support the growth of our sports academy initiatives. You will play a crucial role in connecting with our community, promoting our programmes and events, and establishing Future Sports Academies as a leading provider of sporting excellence and development opportunities.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute integrated marketing communications campaigns across multiple channels to promote academy programmes, events and achievements
Manage community engagement activities and build strong relationships with local stakeholders, parents, schools and sporting organisations
Create compelling marketing content including social media posts, newsletters, case studies and promotional materials that resonate with target audiences
Coordinate and promote academy events, tournaments and community initiatives to maximise participation and visibility
Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, providing regular reporting and recommendations for continuous improvement
Manage digital marketing channels including social media platforms, website updates and email communications
Collaborate with academy staff, coaches and leadership to ensure consistent brand messaging and communication
Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with local organisations, sponsors and community groups
Support the development of marketing strategies that align with academy objectives and values
Maintain and update community databases and manage customer relationship management systems
What we're looking for
Proven experience in marketing communications, community engagement or a related field within the sports, education or non-profit sector
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content for diverse audiences
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platform management
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously
Demonstrated experience in event coordination or community programme management
Knowledge of sports industry practices and understanding of youth development programmes
Proficiency with marketing software, CRM systems and basic graphic design tools (or willingness to learn)
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret marketing data and metrics
A passion for community building and a commitment to promoting sports participation and development
Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Relevant marketing, communications or public relations qualifications are desirable but not essential if you have equivalent professional experience
