Airfreight Forwarding - Customer Service (Import)
Position: Import Department manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach and manage a team for 15-18 Airfreight Import Customer Service professionals, ensuring high performance and excellence service
- Oversee end to end air import operations, including shipment coordination, documentation, customs compliance, billing and timely job closure
- Monitor team KPIs and service levels, providing coaching, performance management, and operational support to achieve business objectives
- Act as the escalation point for complex customer enquiries and service-related issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution
- Drive continuous process improvements and collaborate with Operations, Customs, other internal stakeholders to enhance efficiency and compliance
Requirements:
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience within Airfreight Import Customer Service, with the ability to manage and develop teams effectively
-Strong hands on knowledge of Singapore air import freight forwarding operations, including customs, requirements documentation and end-to-end shipment processes
- Demonstrated track record of driving team KPI performance and maintaining high customer service standards
- Excellent communication, problem solving and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with CargoWise is highly advantageous
