Responsibilities:
Content Creation & On-Camera Presence
Conceptualize, shoot, and edit content (e.g. Reels, TikTok, Stories, posts) for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu.
Appear on camera when required, including hosting, product introductions, street interviews, outlet features, and campaign content.
Conduct interviews with customers, staff, partners, chefs, or KOLs in a natural and engaging manner.
Translate everyday moments, food experiences, and brand stories into relatable, shareable content.
Social Media Management
Plan and manage an annual content calendar.
Publish content consistently and optimize captions, hashtags, and posting schedules.
Monitor comments, DMs, and community engagement, escalating sensitive issues to the management.
Trend, KOL & Community Engagement
Stay up-to-date with social media trends, viral formats, audio, and storytelling styles.
Adapt trends in a brand-safe and culturally relevant way.
Support and collaborate with KOLs, creators, and influencers, including sourcing, coordination, and on-site filming.
Build an authentic online community through proactive engagement.
Campaign & Performance Support
Support marketing campaigns, festive launches, product drops, and brand initiatives.
Track content performance (reach, engagement, saves, shares) and propose improvements.
Work closely with marketing, operations, and outlet teams to capture timely and authentic content.
Blogging & Long-Form Content
Write and manage blog articles for The Soy Company's website or owned platforms.
Develop long-form content such as campaign stories, product features, brand values, sustainability initiatives, interviews, and behind-the-brand narratives.
Repurpose blog content into social media captions, carousels, and short videos for cross-platform synergy.
Apply basic SEO best practices (keywords, headings, readability) to improve discoverability.
Maintain a consistent editorial tone aligned with brand positioning.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Mass Communication, Journalism, Multimedia, or a related discipline. Relevant experience and a strong portfolio will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, content production, or a similar role.
Experience in the F&B, retail, lifestyle, or consumer brand industry will be an advantage.
Technical Skills
Strong videography, photography, and mobile content creation skills.
Proficient in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
Hands-on experience managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Xiaohongshu (RED), and other social media platforms.
Familiar with social media analytics, content performance metrics, and reporting tools.
Basic understanding of SEO principles and content optimization for blog articles.
Experience using AI-powered content creation tools is an added advantage.
Communication & Content Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Chinese copywriting will be an advantage to support bilingual content creation and engagement.
Strong storytelling ability with an eye for creating engaging, relatable, and shareable content.
Comfortable appearing on camera for hosting, interviews, product demonstrations, and promotional videos.
Confident interviewer with the ability to engage customers, employees, business partners, and influencers naturally.

Up-to-date with the latest digital trends, viral content formats, memes, and platform algorithm changes.

Willing to travel to events, roadshows, and external filming locations when required.
Possesses a proactive attitude and is willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, or public holidays to support campaigns and events when necessary.
Other Requirements
A portfolio showcasing previous social media content, videos, campaigns, or creative work is an advantage.
