The Thought Tailor is a growing education centre dedicated to delivering high-quality academic programmes and meaningful learning experiences for our students. We are looking for a proactive, organised and resourceful Special Projects & Administrative Coordinator to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, improving operational processes, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the centre. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems independently, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Operations
Manage daily administrative operations of the centre
Coordinate class schedules, classroom allocations and operational logistics
Maintain accurate student records and internal databases
Handle enquiries from parents and students via WhatsApp, email and phone
Prepare reports, documents and administrative materials
Assist with enrolment, student onboarding and operational processes
Support tutors and management with administrative matters
Special Projects
Plan and execute new initiatives to improve centre operations and student experience
Coordinate workshops, holiday programmes, events and enrichment activities
Develop and implement operational systems and workflows
Conduct research and recommend improvements for business growth
Track project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Marketing & Communications
Coordinate social media content and scheduling
Prepare promotional materials and marketing announcements
Support marketing campaigns and student engagement initiatives
Assist with website and content updates where required
Requirements
Open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents only
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous with strong attention to detail
Able to multitask and prioritise effectively
Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Experience with Canva, social media management or project coordination is an advantage
Prior experience in administration, operations or project coordination is preferred but not required
Working Hours
Full-time position
5-day work week
Applicants must be able to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each week
Working schedule will be discussed during the interview based on operational needs
