Summary of the Job
Responsible for the company’s end to end materials accuracy for our operations with minimum excess and obselences. In addition, the individual will be responsible for all phases of materials movement that require the skills necessary to identify the fluctuation of the customer forecast versus actual demand vs assurance of supply (AOS) vs inhouse capacity and workflows to assure optimized inventory turns to support the company objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead planning team to Monitor and control long lead time parts and maintain minimun stock level of high-valued parts and safety stock to ensure on-time material supply.
Lead Customer Service and Liaise with Sales to provide 12 months SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) forecast if available.
Drive the Customer Service, Warehouse & Logistics, Production, Purchasing, Mechanical Commodity mgmt & Manufacturing centre, Program NPI to meet OTD, thereby, meeting the monthly revenue.
Lead Customer Service to maintain master CS Order Trackers and update Customer OOR (Open Order Report) Promptly.
Lead the development and management of the short and long-range Master Schedule for all CMSG products.
Develop and maintain inventory, planning and other supply-related performance metrics and KPIs to ensure consistent supply chain performance.
Establish Key Performance Indexes (Eg Optimize inventory turns) and measure metrics to monitor supply chain performance, maximize service levels, optimize resource utilization, and reduce supply disruption risk.
Drives and minimize excess and obsolescence inventory.
Facilitate inventory stock count per company policy and additional stock count as when needed.
Recommend and maintain optimal inventory levels at various stages in the supply chain to achieve customer satisfaction levels and mitigate inventory exposure.
Create, evaluate, and monitor inventory strategies to meet organizational goals and financial objectives.
Regularly evaluate the sales plan to maintain an understanding of the long-range supply & demand picture for key products.
Lead and formalize cross-functional projects designed to continuously improve the supply planning processes.
Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations.
Develop supply chain management best practices in areas such as systems integration and optimization with robust FA mgmt, ECN mgmt, NCR mgmt, and inventory control mgmt which incorporate forecasts and demand planning (MRP).
Collaborate Sales, Program NPI, Supply Chain- Commodity mgmt & purchasing, Finance, Manufacturing, Production and other stakeholders to ensure data reviewed at Customer On Time Delivery meetings is available and accurate.
Collaborate with Warehouse and Logistics to achieve perfect order material issuant to production and manufacturing.
Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure robust and timely availability of raw materials and components for the production process.
Develop, coach, and mentor direct reports.
Drive Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) alongside AI implementation works.
Any other duties as and when assigned
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferable Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electrical, and at least five (5) years planning along with 3+ year’s relevant operations/supply chain experience
Minimum 10 years of planning experiences in manufacturing environment
Proven more than 5 years supervisory experiences
Strong proficienct in Microsoft Office - Excel, Powerpoint & project management, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Good communication skill and able to work effectively with peers and other function teams
Excellent leadership, team player, man-management skills and follow up skills
A self-starter, motivated and able to positively motivate others can-do attitute
Ability to manage projects and establish clear goals and accountabilities to ensure successful delivery (on time, within budget, meeting agreed upon success criteria= key performance indexes)
