Temporary Procurement Buyer (1 Year Contract) - #1163666

The Costing Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement of materials and components essential for printer production. This role focuses on vendor sourcing, cost analysis, price negotiation, and ensuring efficient lead times to contribute to the company's profitability and operational efficiency.

Job Description:

• Source new vendors to enhance supply chain capabilities and vendor diversity

• Conduct vendor qualification audits and collaborate with the Quality department to select reliable suppliers

• Confirm parts specifications during sourcing and new parts selection to ensure compliance with requirements

• Perform cost analysis on main and alternative parts to develop optimal procurement strategies

• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency and support cost reduction initiatives

• Request and evaluate quotations (RFQs) for new parts based on the Bill of Materials (BOM) list

• Execute other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support procurement and supply chain functions

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain or preferably in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic & Mechanical)

• At least 2 years of experience in the MNC manufacturing industry

• Experience managing global suppliers and overseas parts is advantageous

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel and data analysis

• Understanding of MRP systems and experience with Oracle is a plus

• Willingness to perform overtime
