Business Development Executive – Warehousing & Logistics Solutions

Position Overview

MAK Logistics is seeking a motivated, results-driven, Business Development Executive to expand our warehousing, fulfillment, and logistics business in Singapore. The ideal candidate will possess strong industry knowledge in warehouse management, fulfillment operations, inventory control, and 3PL logistics, enabling them to effectively understand customer requirements and develop customized warehousing solutions.

This role requires a combination of business development, client relationship management, warehouse consultancy, and commercial acumen to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for warehousing, fulfillment, distribution, and logistics services.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, distribution, FMCG, and related industries.

• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and presentations to understand operational requirements and propose suitable solutions.

• Assess customer warehousing, inventory management, fulfillment, and distribution requirements.

• Provide professional recommendations on storage solutions, warehouse operations, fulfillment processes, and value-added logistics services.

• Develop customized logistics and warehousing solutions that align with customer needs and operational capabilities.

• Prepare quotations, proposals, pricing models, and service presentations.

• Support contract negotiations and ensure service commitments are clearly defined and achievable.

• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth implementation and onboarding of new accounts.

• Maintain excellent customer relationships and identify opportunities for account growth and service expansion.

• Stay updated on best practices in warehouse management, fulfillment operations, and supply chain solutions.

• Provide market feedback and recommendations to support business growth strategies.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• 5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding, fulfillment, or supply chain industries.

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, fulfillment services, and 3PL logistics.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
