Key Responsibilities
1. Reporting & Data Analysis Support
Prepare and update monthly sales, stock, and performance reports
Support preparation of data for vendor meetings and business reviews
Monitor product performance and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities (e.g., pricing, assortment adjustments)
2. Buying & Order Administration
Support creation and processing of purchase orders and monthly replenishment orders
Track delivery timelines and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely fulfilment
Maintain accurate and up-to-date order and product records
Support day-to-day administrative tasks related to buying operations
3. Stock Monitoring & Replenishment Support
Monitor stock levels and flag potential out-of-stock or overstock situations
Track ageing and slow-moving inventory and support corrective actions
Assist in weekly replenishment reporting
Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to resolve stock-related issues
4. Assortment & Product Coordination
Support updates to product assortment (listing, delisting, and range changes)
Collect and consolidate product information, specifications, and visuals from suppliers
Maintain and update assortment databases and product listings
5. Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as a point of contact for suppliers on operational and administrative follow-ups
Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Logistics, Finance) to ensure smooth execution of daily activities
6. Pricing, Master Data & System Support
Support maintenance of product master data and pricing in internal systems
Assist in implementing price changes and promotional updates
Help identify and resolve basic data discrepancies (pricing, orders, product information)
Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal data and operational processes
Profile & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Business, Marketing, Retail, or a related field
Prior internship or exposure in retail, FMCG, merchandising, or buying is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data handling, reporting, and basic analysis)
Proactive, reliable, and a strong team player
Strong interest in retail, consumer brands, and international business environments
