Merchandiser / Order Fulfillment (Food Modern Trade) - #1163525

Our client is a reputable company within the premium food distribution and consumer products industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Retail Merchandiser / Order fulfillment (Modern Trade) to join their team. They are located in the (North) – easily accessible.

Gross Salary: $2,500 - $3,000 + AWS + Bonus

Working hour: 5.5 Days, Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.45pm ; Alt Sat: 8.30am to 12.30pm

1. Merchandiser (Grocery 5.5Days / Perishable food 6 Days)

Responsibilities:

• Execute merchandising activities across assigned retail outlets to ensure product visibility, availability, and display standards are maintained.

• Monitor inventory levels, replenish stock when required, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders on stock shortages and replenishment matters.

• Ensure proper stock rotation practices are followed to maintain product freshness and minimize inventory losses.

• Maintain product displays, shelf arrangements, promotional materials, and point-of-sale visibility in accordance with company guidelines.

• Conduct regular store visits to review product placement, pricing accuracy, and overall merchandising effectiveness.

• Coordinate with retail operations personnel to resolve day-to-day merchandising and inventory-related issues.

• Support promotional campaigns and product demonstration activities at retail outlets when required.

• Prepare and submit merchandising reports, stock observations, and market feedback to support sales initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE N-Level, O-Level, or equivalent qualification.

• Prior experience in retail merchandising, supermarket operations, FMCG, or consumer goods industry will be advantageous.

• Familiar with inventory management, stock replenishment, and retail merchandising practices.

• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and travel to assigned retail locations.

2. Order fulfillment (Modern Trade) 5.5 Alt Sat

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage customer orders accurately through the company's ERP and order management systems.

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment, delivery scheduling, and inventory availability.

• Monitor order status, shipment progress, and customer requirements to ensure smooth execution.

• Handle order amendments, returns, cancellations, and related documentation in accordance with operational procedures.

• Prepare and maintain order records, sales documentation, delivery instructions, and transaction reports.

• Liaise with customers on order confirmations, delivery schedules, product availability, and after-sales support.

• Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, billing issues, and delivery-related matters.

• Support inventory coordination and operational activities to ensure uninterrupted order processing.

• Generate periodic reports and provide updates on order fulfillment performance and customer requirements.

• Ensure compliance with established operational procedures, documentation standards, and service requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience in order processing, customer service, sales support, administration, or related operational functions will be advantageous.

• Familiar with ERP, order management, or inventory management systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP platforms will be an added advantage.
