Operations Technician - #1163511

As Operations Technician, you are responsible for providing configuration, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of Vallen’s commercial machines to ensure that they are functional and efficient.

What will you deliver?

- Configure, install, test and commission new machines.

- Perform calibration and configuration on existing machine.

- Monitor machine running performance & device improvement planning.

- Facilitate regular equipment maintenance to keep machines in working order and minimize downtime.

- Write reports to document work done on the machines.

- Apply adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machine as well as other equipment in accordance with procedures.

- Ensure proper safety and procedure related to the machines.

- Provide field service training to internal users and customers.

- Maintain database of internal and external product test data.

- Ensure world class customer service is achieved.

- Ensure compliance with Vallen’s policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications

- Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Electronics Engineering or other related disciplines

- Experience in machine services

- Responsible, self-disciplined

- Ability to work in a team

- Organised

- Forklift or scissor lift certificates
