Salesforce Developer - #1163491

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions primarily on the Service Cloud and Public Sector Solutions platforms. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality Salesforce applications that serve our public sector clients.

Responsibilities:

Core Development
• Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud and Public Sector Solutions (PSS).
• Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Implement declarative solutions using Flow Builder, Process Builder, and approval workflows.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
• Perform data migrations, data modelling, and manage complex object relationships.

Service Cloud
• Configure and customise Service Cloud features including Case Management, Entitlements, Service Console, Knowledge
• Optimise service operations through automation, SLA management, and omni-channel routing.
• Collaborate with operations teams to streamline customer service workflows and agent productivity.

Public Sector Solutions
• Deliver solutions leveraging Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS)
• Understand and implement government business process requirements within the PSS framework.
• Support configuration and customisation of PSS data models and regulatory workflows.

Collaboration & Delivery
• Participate in full SDLC including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct unit testing, peer code reviews, and maintain thorough technical documentation.
• Adhere to Salesforce best practices, governor limits, and security standards.
• Support UAT, production deployments, and post-go-live hypercare activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Proven expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud implementation and customisation.
• Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS).
• Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Aura Components.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce data tools: Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or similar ETL tools.
• Unit test code development experience
• Code review and quality improvements experience.

Requirement:

• Salesforce configuration: Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Sharing Rules, and Security.
• Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture.
• Familiarity with deployment tools such as VS Code with Salesforce Extensions, SFDX CLI, or Gearset.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

Good to have:

OmniStudio (Preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce OmniStudio components: OmniScripts, DataRaptors, FlexCards, and Integration Procedures.
• Ability to design guided user experiences and dynamic UI components using OmniStudio toolset.
• Understanding of OmniStudio's role within Vlocity/Industry Cloud solutions.
• OmniStudio Developer certification is a strong plus.

Experience Cloud (Preferred)
• Experience building and configuring Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud) portals and sites.
• Familiarity with Aura and LWC components within Experience Cloud context.
• Understanding of digital experience design for external users (citizens, partners, or customers).
• Knowledge of Experience Cloud security model, guest user access, and sharing sets.
