We’re looking to add a Engineering Assistant, Manufacturing in Singapore. The position is based in our Headquarters in Ang Mo Kio.

As a Engineering Assistant, Manufacturing you will:

Be responsible for setting up, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes. This includes helping with documentation, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring processes meet quality and customer requirements.

The key roles and responsibilities are as below:

• Help create and update work instructions and process documents.

• Support new product builds and help prepare production materials

• Assist with setting up and improving assembly processes (SMT, through-hole, etc.).

• Identify and manage process improvements relating to product quality, cost, cycle time and manufacturing line efficiencies.

• Analyze, propose and implement corrective action plans to resolve quality issues.

• Provide line support and optimization of yield improvement plans.

• Support the setup and maintenance of tools, jigs, and fixtures.

• Set up BOM, prepare Venture Standard Operating Procedure and Engineering Alert.

• Conduct training for the Production Associates.

• Must be able to support other shift / area when required by superior.

• Authorized to report production issues and suggest improvement opportunities to engineering and production management.

• May implement minor approved changes in documentation or work methods under the direction of a Manufacturing Engineer.

• May interface with suppliers and vendors regarding basic tooling or materials upon supervisor direction

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

• Some experience in a highly competitive product manufacturing environment preferred.

• Familiar with Bill of materials structure.

• Familiarity with SMT assembly, PCB handling, and rework processes is a strong asset.

• Prior co-op/internship experience in a manufacturing or process engineering setting is advantageous.

• Basic understanding of electronics and assembly processes (SMT, wave soldering, hand soldering etc.).

• Can read assembly drawings and simple technical documents.

• Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

• Able to work well with others and follow instructions.

• Some knowledge of quality and safety standards (like ESD and IPC) is a plus.

• Willing to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
