Brief Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee and promote safety standards within the workplace, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and fostering a culture of safety.

Responsibilities:

• Enforce safety standards in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.

• Conduct training programs and inspections to ensure adherence to safety policies by all staff and subcontractors.

• Advise management on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) issues, trends, and necessary corrective actions.

• Prepare and submit safety reports and conduct required audits.

• Assist in obtaining safety certifications and enhancing awareness through audits, meetings, and safety programs.

• Collaborate with safety team members, including WSH coordinators and supervisors.

• Monitor EHS system activities to ensure corporate policies and objectives are achieved.

• Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities for effective communication and support.

• Stay updated with industry best practices and changes in safety regulations.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Environment, Health & Safety Management or a related discipline.

• Registered WSH Officer with MOM, holding a minimum of 5 years of registration.

• At least 5 years of experience in workplace safety and health with a Main Contractor.

• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as needed.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, with capabilities to prepare and present during safety meetings.

• Good understanding of Singapore WSH regulations and ISO management systems.
