Job Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical components and modules based on project and product requirements

• Handle full product development cycle, including design, prototype testing, manufacturing and implementation

• Create mechanical designs, drawings and plans using CAD software

• Conduct evaluation, testing and improvement of product design, performance, reliability and safety

• Analyse mechanical problems or design issues and propose suitable solutions

• Prepare technical documentation and mechanical documentation

• Estimate project timeline, budget and required resources

• Ensure product design meets compliance and safety requirements

• Work closely with project managers, engineers and internal teams

• Liaise with vendors on module design and finalisation

• Support troubleshooting and improvement of automated equipment when required

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical engineering experience

• Experience in semiconductor industry or equipment-related environment will be an advantage

• Hands-on experience in CAD, CAM and simulation / data analysis tools such as Matlab or LabVIEW

• Experience in troubleshooting PC-based fully automated equipment will be an advantage

• Knowledge in die bonder application and process will be an added advantage
