Job Summary
The jobholder reports to the Manager and is responsible for the execution of programmes under the Family and Employability department to meet the organisation’s target by working closely with various stakeholders. The Executive Officer implement the daily operations and ensures compliance with relevant procedures and regulations. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, and a commitment to driving social impact. They may be involved in budgeting, resource allocation and reports preparation.
The incumbent is responsible to:
Engage community stakeholders to build and deepen support on public education initiative to achieve greater impact among the children and parents served by the organisation and partner agencies.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver services effectively.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
The job holder is expected to work from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. The job holder is largely expected to work in an office environment. On occasion, the job holder may need to work outside official hours on weekends to support in the running of events.
Key Responsibility Areas
Planning and Management
Draft Concept Paper for programmes.
Engage relevant parties and organisations to identify programme’s needs.
Ensure sufficient resources for smooth execution of initiatives.
Adhere to SOPs, standards and benchmark with similar initiatives
Monitor program progress and evaluate outcomes to ensure objectives are met.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation.
Knowledge and Research
Conduct periodic environmental scanning of relevant programmes and initiatives
Provide insights and expertise to the Deputy Director, concerning relevant issues.
Partnership Management
Seek collaborations and partnerships.
Identify platforms/ opportunities for engagement of partners
Build rapport and build strong relationship with sponsors and partners.
Financial Management/ Efficiency
Prepare budget for programmes and initiatives.
Ensure the financial procedures are adhered to in the appropriate procurement process.
Ensure payments in accordance to financial procedures and standards
Requirements
At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in early childhood or social service sector.
Minimum a Degree in Early Childhood, Psychology or related discipline is preferred.
Able to work independently and in teams.
Confident and has a good working attitude.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Strong IT literacy and ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
