M&E Engineer / Senior M&E Engineer - #1163246

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced M&E Engineer / Senior M&E Engineer to support the execution of building services projects for commercial and industrial developments. The successful candidate will be involved in engineering coordination, site supervision, design review, and project execution to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate M&E engineering drawings, technical submissions, and specifications

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on project execution and technical matters

• Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards

• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities for M&E systems

• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and authority requirements including BCA, SCDF, PUB, and EMA guidelines

• Participate in project meetings and support overall project coordination activities

• Assist in resolving technical and site coordination issues

• Support project documentation, material submissions, and progress reporting

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related engineering discipline

• Minimum 6–7 years of relevant experience in building M&E projects, preferably in Singapore

• Experience in commercial and/or industrial building projects will be an advantage

• Familiar with ACMV (Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation), electrical power and lighting systems, fire protection and alarm systems, plumbing and sanitary systems, and ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, and CSD coordination

• Knowledge of Singapore authority requirements and local codes of practice

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment

• Able to manage project schedules, priorities, and multiple tasks effectively
