Job Summary:
As the Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of a dedicated portfolio of active corporate accounts within Singapore to secure retention and deliver sustainable, profitable revenue growth. This strategic B2B role focuses entirely on farming existing business via structured upselling and cross-selling initiatives, rather than cold-hunting. You will design regular account development plans, conduct executive reviews, manage pricing margins, and partner with internal Logistics, Customer Service, and Corporate Inside Sales teams to deliver tailored client solutions. Additionally, you will guide corporate accounts through automated digital order-to-pay transformations and align localized sales execution with global tender agreements.
Job Description:
1. Portfolio Management & Revenue GrowthAccount Farming: Manage, nurture, and defend a strategic portfolio of active corporate large accounts within the Singapore market to drive recurring commercial value.
Upselling & Cross-selling: Identify latent customer needs and systematically expand the account footprint by introducing extended product categories, specialized solutions, and value-added service lines.
Account Development Plans: Structure and lead regular account development reviews via face-to-face executive meetings or video conferences to review consumption metrics, optimize supply lines, and present new capabilities.
Margin Governance: Monitor, analyze, and manage pricing matrices and contract margins across the portfolio to sustain corporate profitability benchmarks.
International Coordination: Cooperate functionally with international account management teams to ensure localized service delivery strictly respects global corporate tenders, pricing guidelines, and framework agreements.
Special Sourcing: Coordinate bespoke or specialized sourcing requests for enterprise clients, following internal compliance and supply-chain protocols.
Service Delivery: Collaborate deeply with internal Customer Service, Logistics, and Marketing divisions to resolve operational roadblocks and deliver seamless customized supply solutions.
Digital Transformation: Advocate for and transition corporate clients onto enterprise e-solutions, digitalizing their end-to-end order-to-pay procurement journey to increase transaction efficiency.
Inside Sales Partnership: Partner closely with Corporate Inside Sales teams to design and execute highly efficient internal processes for managing daily client requirements.
CRM Accuracy: Maintain real-time data integrity within the corporate CRM software, updating communication logs, account progress charts, contract lifecycle data, and upcoming expansion opportunities.
Ad-hoc Assignments: Execute reasonable ad-hoc strategic tasks or operational assignments as directed by the corporate management team.
Requirements
Experience & Education
Professional Tenure: Minimum 5 years of progressive, hands-on B2B sales or account management experience, with a proven track record engaging directly with Corporate Large Accounts or contract-based service sectors.
Industries: B2B Sales / Account Management experience in FMCG and Catering: Coffee, pantry essentials, cleaning products, and hygiene consumables.
Commercial Mindset: Highly skilled in relationship farming, showing a documented history of hit targets across client retention, revenue expansion, and cross-selling.
Commercial & Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of margin calculation, pricing negotiations, and commercial contract structures.
Strategic Communication: Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills to engage comfortably with senior corporate procurement executives and internal cross-functional leads.
Tech Savviness: Strong familiarity with enterprise CRM architectures and a clear understanding of digital e-procurement or e-commerce workflows.
