We are looking for a motivated and proactive Sales Executive to support and grow our business within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life science sectors. This is primarily an office-based role involving customer engagement, quotation preparation, supplier coordination, lead follow-up, and business development activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and converting enquiries into orders while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide product recommendations and solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations in a timely manner.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, lead times, and technical information.
• Conduct outbound calls and email follow-ups with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities through customer outreach and lead generation activities.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and sales opportunities to maximise conversion rates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, and related industries.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities.
• Process sales orders and coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Work closely with management to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives.
Requirements
• Diploma in Business, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, customer service, sales support, or business development.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, laboratory, biotechnology, healthcare, or industrial products will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and telephone skills.
• Confident in engaging customers and developing business opportunities.
• Good organisational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CRM or ERP systems is an advantage.
