About the role

NEXWAH TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a talented Technical Sales & Application Engineer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in the North Region, where you will bridge the gap between our innovative electrical and electronic engineering solutions and our valued clients.

In this pivotal role, you will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to identify customer needs, propose tailored solutions, and ensure successful project implementation. You will be instrumental in driving revenue growth whilst maintaining strong technical credibility and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities

1. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the electrical and electronic engineering sector, building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects

2. Provide technical consultation to clients, understanding their specific requirements and recommending appropriate engineering solutions

3. Prepare and deliver compelling technical proposals, presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients and key decision-makers

4. Conduct product training and application support for existing and potential customers to ensure optimal utilisation of our solutions

5. Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to customise solutions that meet unique customer specifications and project requirements

6. Support the sales process from initial inquiry through to contract negotiation and project closure

7. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our product portfolio, competitor offerings and industry trends to provide informed recommendations

8. Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, serving as their primary technical point of contact

9. Gather customer feedback and provide insights to inform product development and service improvements

10. Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status and key performance metrics to management

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

2. 3+ years of professional experience in a technical sales, application engineering or field engineering role, preferably within the electrical or electronics industry

3. Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, components, and their applications

4. Proven track record of successfully closing sales and exceeding revenue targets

5. Excellent technical communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

6. Proficiency in using CAD software, technical documentation and engineering design tools

7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset

8. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels

9. Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams located in Shanghai and Hefei, China

10. Willingness to travel within the region for client meetings, site visits and project support
