Senior / Cybersecurity Engineer (Risk Assessment & VAPT) - #1163047

• Well Established Company (System Integrator)

• Basic $4500 to $6500 + AWS + VB

• Working location: Northeast

• Monday to Friday (8:30am to 5:30pm)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform cybersecurity risk assessments and security reviews

• Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT) activities

• Implement cybersecurity controls and security hardening measures

• Assist in monitoring and investigating security events and incidents

• Support compliance initiatives based on cybersecurity standards and best practices

• Configure and support firewalls, network security devices and related technologies

• Assist in developing cybersecurity documentation, policies and procedures

• Participate in project implementation and cybersecurity-related activities

• Prepare technical documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related discipline

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices

• Experience in cybersecurity risk assessment, vulnerability assessment or security hardening

• Familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems

• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, switches and firewalls

• Familiarity with ISO27001, NIST, CIS or similar frameworks is advantageous

• Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISA, CCNA or related certifications will be an advantage
