SYSTEM ENGINEER - CCTV/ELV SYSTEMS - SINGAPOREANS ONLY - 1-3 YRS RELEVANT EXP - #1162912

Job Description

We are seeking a System Engineer to support the delivery of FIDS / PIDS projects. The role involves system design, implementation, integration, and commissioning of security systems for infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare system design, drawings, and technical documentation

• Develop network diagrams, bill of materials, and system configurations

• Perform site installation, including cabling, equipment setup, and fibre splicing

• Configure and integrate FIDS / PIDS systems, including backend servers and monitoring systems

• Support integration with CCTV and related systems

• Conduct testing, commissioning, and system performance checks

• Troubleshoot system issues during installation and operation

• Prepare test reports and maintain project documentation

• Coordinate with project team, vendors, and stakeholders

Requirements

Qualification

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or related discipline

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in security systems / ELV / project environment

• Experience in FIDS / PIDS or similar systems preferred

• Experience in system installation, integration or commissioning

Technical Skills

• Knowledge in FIDS / PIDS / CCTV systems

• Basic networking (IP addressing, switches, servers)

• Good Knowledge in Fibre optic installation (preferred)

• System configuration and troubleshooting

• Basic AutoCAD or equivalent drafting skills

Other Requirements

• Able to work on-site and support project deployment

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Responsible and detail-oriented

• Office and project sites (Singapore-based)
