We’re looking to add a Technician, Moulding in UNIVAC, Woodlands.

As a Technician, Moulding, You will:

• Install molds on machines in accordance with work order specifications.

• Set up molding machines, including all ancillary equipment related to the molding process.

• Follow and document process parameters to ensure consistency and repeatable production results.

• Perform material handling duties as required, ensuring proper preparation and supply of materials.

• Carry out mold changes efficiently and safely.

• Optimize molding process parameters to achieve quality products and improved cycle times.

• Set up End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) for robotic part removal and trimming processes.

• Monitor and address excessive reject rates, implementing corrective actions when necessary.

• Respond promptly to machine alarms and troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of materials, molds, and tooling.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and consistent communication during shift handovers.

• Ensure continuous and efficient operation of production equipment.

• Provide backup support for material handling duties when required.

• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping standards on the shop floor.

• Promote a positive work environment and support awareness of company goals and objectives.

• Perform any additional duties assigned by the superior to support overall company objectives.

What skills and experiences are we looking for :

• Technical Education or engineering related

• Preferably a minimum of 1-year hands-on working experience in injection molding with hands-on experience in scientific molding methods and experience in handling & troubleshooting of molds preferred (Fresh graduates can be considered as on the job training will be provided)
