The focus of the Supporter Engagement team is to improve the engagement and retention of donors and thereby ensure that the fundraising efforts in World Vision will be sustainable and contribute to the growth of funds raised for ministry. The Supporter Engagement team seeks to deliver a meaningful donor experience, seamless empathetic service, and timely data insights, while continually making the giving process more effortless for donors. In this role, you will support the team to ensure World Vision Singapore is able to fulfil the Donor Promise and a high level of customer service and engagement to our donors at all times.
General Responsibilities
Operational support on matters related to the processing of sponsorships and other donations.
Engagement with donors to facilitate a seamless and fulfilling experience.
Update and safeguard donor information and donor management system integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the sponsorship database, ensuring that health, education, and presence updates for sponsored children are current.
Perform check and verify that child profiles from the field are accurate and maintain enough children available for sponsorship.
Part of a core project team for the implementation of the next-generation Donor Management System (DMS).
Identify opportunities for automation within the new system environment and assist in drafting user manuals and SOPs.
Coordinate with field offices to resolve data queries and to ensure smooth donor experience and timely processing.
Provide primary processing of care gifts from the sponsors including uploading of care gifts data to the field offices as well as informing finance of funds to be transferred.
Provide essential backup for processing of all sponsorship donations.
Requirements
Degree in any discipline, preferably with exposure to information systems, business data analysis.
At least 2–4 years of relevant experience in operations, process improvement, business analytics, or administrative roles; experience in a non‑profit or customer‑facing environment is an advantage.
Demonstrates passion for excellence with respect to servicing donors and their needs to help the poor.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to map processes, spot inefficiencies and design pragmatic solutions.
Experience in MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation or automation is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to multi-task is essential.
