Senior Sourcing Executive (Procurement Specialist) - Manufacturing - #1162762

We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Executive responsible for strategic procurement and vendor management in the purchasing and supply chain domains.

This candidate will be responsible for supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, information gathering and analysis, and cross-departmental procurement process improvements. The candidate should have a proven track record of collaborating with internal departments to achieve cost reductions and mitigate supply risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Searching for and evaluating alternative sources and proposing new supplier opportunities

• Analysis of causes when problems occur and supplier risk assessment

• Negotiation and maintenance of contracts and agreements, and streamlining supplier communication

• Implementation and reporting of supplier performance evaluation cycles

• Prepare and submit regular purchasing reports to management and cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain / Business Management or other relevant fields in Procurement

Skills and Competencies

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience (experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred)

• Candidates without prior experience will be considered for an entry role

• Practical experience in procurement processes and understanding of procurement methods

• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills with external suppliers and internal customers

• Possess independence and initiative, and the ability to utilize resources effectively

• Problem-solving, analytical skills, collaboration, and adaptability

• Document preparation and presentation skills

• Proficient in English and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Added advantage if you have practical experience in ERP/purchasing management systems
